New version of Life Balance is released

Llamagraphics has just released Life Balance v3.2.6 . Life Balance is a calendar / task manager / project outliner for Palm, Mac and Windows and it makes a great “trusted system” for . I have been using Life Balance on Windows for a few months now and I think it has really helped me make sense of David Allen’s methods .

A lot of users think Life Balance is the missing link between top down Covey-style time management and the bottom up Allen style. This article sums up the planning process . The unique balance wheel allows you to see what percentage of your effort you are spending in each priority area of your life - and can even be set to adjust your to-do list to rebalance your activities. I don’t use that feature so much, but some users swear by it.

For GTD addicts, you can view your next actions from two perspectives - by project in an overall outline, or by context. Life Balance calls contexts “Places” and has some added features for Place management - like the ability to include places within one another. I keep my Personal Calls and Work Calls on separate lists, for example, but include both Places in my All Calls list.

If you are looking for a software solution for Getting Things Done, go and try out Life Balance .
